Day1

Lima City Tour

Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. If arriving during the day, your hotel will be in the neighbourhood of Miraflores, with good shopping and restaurants, and you’ll have an included city tour in the afternoon. If arriving late at night, you’ll be close to the airport for a bit more sleep before your next day’s flight, and you’ll have a tour of Lima upon your return.
Day2

Lima - Puerto Maldonado - Lodge - Monkey Island

Transfer to the Lima airport to take flight to Puerto Maldonado When you arrive to Puerto Maldonado, our guides or staff will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the centre of the town where you can experience the exotic local market depending on the arrival time of the flights we may have the first lunch here or while travelling to the lodge or in the lodge. We take our private bus along the Madre de Dios River for approximately 1 hour to our Ecolodge. A cool welcome drink awaits you will be shown to your bungalows to settle in. In the afternoon we will take a 30 minute boat journey to Monkey Island where you appreciate a great diversity of monkeys such the: spider, capuchin, tamarines and squirrel monkeys as well as racoons, capybaras and a rich variety of birds. We return to our Ecolodge for a traditional dinner. Night time activities are available each night.
Day3

Lodge - Sandoval Lake

After a great jungle breakfast, we take a 2 hours walk to the famous Sandoval Lake, passing through virgin forest, home to beautiful flora and fauna including Giant Otters, birds, alligators, turtles, and variety of fish. We will spend few hours in canoes on this lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the region. Afterwards, we may take a short visit on the traditional farming areas to see the production of regular supplies.
Day4

Lodge - Parrot's Clay Lick - Pte.Maldonado - Cusco

Very early departure to witness the spectacle of the Parrot’s Clay Lick and sunrise on the rivers as we journey 1 and half hours to the Clay-Lick wall before hundreds of green parrots congregate at first light each morning. We will generally be able to spend about one hour here before re-boarding the boat to enjoy breakfast on our return to Puerto Maldonado. Check in 2 hours before your flight on to Cusco.
Day5

Sacred Valley of Incas Full Day

Breakfast. You will be picked up at 8:15 am. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting: the colourful Indian market in Pisac where a mixture of colour and tradition will be able appreciated besides will have a good opportunity to try our bargain skills on the free time to interact with the local craftsmen to purchase their hand-made souvenirs. The Valley has a distance of 31 km (19 miles) of Cusco, and an altitude of 2,970 ms (9,700 p), Pisac is located to the entrance of the Sacred Valley and followed by Ollantaytambo, the older town continuously occupied of the American continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with their channels that have not varied from the time Inca, evoke their ancestral inheritance, lunch in a typical restaurant  and after we explore Ollantaytambo we go to Chincheros another Incan site and after exploring we go back to Cusco.
Day6

Mollepata Trek - Marcocasa Trail - Sorayapampa

We pick you up from your hotel and then we go the bus station and travel by bus for about 3 hours to Mollepata where we will have breakfast this first breakfast need to be order in a local restaurant in Mollepata. after that we take again the private transport until Marcocasa where is going to start our trek. A 3 hour walk will take us to Challacancha where we will have lunch with panoramic views of beautiful snow-capped mountains (Humantay; 4120m/13500ft and Salkantay; 6271m/20575ft) – just the start! We will begin our trek towards Soraypampa, our first campsite (3800 m/11750ft; the highest and coldest campsite of the trip) taking in the beautiful landscape along the way. as optional visit we will go to Humantay lake which is 1 hour walking from Soraypampa our first Campsite. Day7

Sorayapampa - Chaullay or Collpapampa

We will have breakfast at around 5.30am and begin our walk to the highest pass on this trek (4650m/15200ft) located halfway between 2 huge mountains. Salkantay on the right and Tucarhuay on the left. From the pass, the views of the 2 snow-capped mountains are incredible. There is a possibility of snow here. After a rest, we will continue our walk (downhill) through a dramatic cloud forest towards Huayra Punku, where we will have lunch. We hike again after lunch in the direction of the start of the jungle until we reach our second campsite, challay or Colcabamba (3000m/9800ft). Chaullay - La Playa - Sahuayaco Cloud Forest

After breakfast, at 6.30am, we start trekking for the day through the upper jungle crossing the Lluskamayo River and a variety of little brooks to reach La Playa walking about 6 hours where we will Camp at a coffee plantation where we will learn about the process of the coffee so we will harvest, roast and ground the coffee as part of this trek . Today we will pass through valleys and have wonderful views of waterfalls, tropical fruits ,plants and as soon as we are at la playa place where we are going to camp at a coffee plantation, on the other hand the horses will go back to Mollepata. from here there are an optional thing to do so we can take a local bus to drive one hour to get Santa teresa where we can enjoy the natural hot spring ( bus fares and entrance fees to the the natural hot spring is not included in this tour). Llacapata-Hidro Electirca-Aguas Calientes

“We will have breakfast at 8 am and leave our campsite at la Playa we will walk for about 20 minutes to get to Lucmabamba. so wie will do the original Inca Trail trail of Llactapata from this place we can see Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu from far, after we arrive to Hydroelectric where we are going to have our lunch then we continue walking, passing a variety of crop plantations, coca, banana we will be walking about two and half hours along the train road till reaching Aguas Calientes town where we will spend the night in a hostal. In Aguas Calientes, you can take advantage of the thermal springs in the town (entrance 10 soles) a real treat after finishing the trek. Day10

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

We wake up early morning about 4 am to then to 4:30 to have the breakfast and leave to walk up to Machu Picchu which takes one and half hours up to Machu Picchu but there is another option to catch the first bus which leaves 5:30 to Machu Picchu (25-minutes long ) in order to appreciate the magnificent city as the sun is rising. A walking tour (approximately 2 hours) is given by your Guide and after this you can explore the mysterious city by yourselves. If you still have energy you can also climb Huayna Picchu (2720m/8890 ft). It takes 45 minutes to reach the top.
You will meet your guide in Aguas Calientes (it can be reached by bus or on foot) to be given your train tickets back to Cusco or ollantaytambo . The first train usually leaves at 15.55 and we will arrive back in Cusco at about 20.20.or the second train which leaves 4:20 and goes to ollantaytambo where someone will be waiting for you with your guides name who will take you to take a bus to cusco .(Please let us know whether you would like to stay an extra night when booking your tour.) Bus from Puno to Cusco

(With stops) leaving Cusco at 7:00 am arriving to Puno at 5:00 pm) and exploring places which are shown below.
ANDAHUAYLILLAS: It is named the “Sixtine Chapel of America” and in some sense the comparison examples of the Andean popular religious art. The church of Andahuayliaas is a jewellery of the mestizo baroque architecture that developed in Cusco. Its nave presents profuse decoration, especially in the celling decorated with carved panels which is a recover with pan de oro (type of gold decoration).
RAQCHI (Temple of Wiracocha God): To 121 Km of Cusco, it was an Inca church of monumental dimensions: 100 meters of length by 26 meters of wide and 14 meters of height; the temple is divided in two naves and each nave shows basics of 11 giant columns. The bases of the church are built perfectly carving stones continued with adobe. It is appreciated besides qolqas or granary places of military order, religious, Inca between others.
LA RAYA: Media point in the rout of Cusco – Puno. It is the highest part, it has 4335 meters above sea level, we can appreciate beautiful landscapes, llamas and vicuñas, geographic union between two cultures Quechua and aymara, we can see the Altiplano arid and dry union with the Quechua zone with rivers and valleys.
PUKARA: It is the most important and oldest ceremonial centre of the Altiplano, preceding to tiahunaco, characterised by a series oh echelon platforms ceremonial centre. It’s also possible to appreciate interesting litosculptures, trails or tomb stone of intriguing personage that seems to show evidence of a brave civilisation. here is where it was discovered the origins of the Andean culture in the Altiplano.
Day12

Full Day Uros Island Tour - Kayak at Luquina

This great adventure begins at 7:00am with a transfer from your hotel to the port. At 7:30am. We then travel by luxury speed motor boat towards the peninsula of Capachica and after of only 30 minutes of navigation !! We reach Santa Maria – Llachon. This is for sure one of the most scenic spots Of lake Titicaca, with terrific Lake Titicaca views. It will be then the starting point of our adventure. At 08.30 am we meet the team of Titicaca kayak Company and your certified kayak Guide. Who will give us the security briefing and basic paddling instructions and help Us the get on properly the kayak gear, flotation device etc. (No previous experience required, but good physical condition, but please report your guide any medical condition). At 08:45 am we start paddling from the tip of the Peninsula of Capachica towards Taquile Island (10k). The quietness and immensity of the lake will be our travel partners, enjoy the stunning views of the Lake and the snow caped mountains on the distance, along the way we make some stops for resting and re-hydrating, finally we arrive to Taquile Island at 11:15 am. Then we join the Titicaca Uncovered Tour. Have a quick exploration of Taquile Island, and observe briefly this traditional community. At 11:55 am we leave the island.12:15 pm. Arrival to the community of Santa Maria – Llachon, on the tip of the Capachica Peninsula, a very scenic off the beaten track destination. We are welcomed by a small community and quickly introduced to an intensive cross cultural experience, observe their traditions and participate in an ancient ceremony to learn about their magical world. Then experience the preparation of “Pachamanca” a traditional way of cooking meat, fish and potatoes using underground ovens – this is one of the main dishes of Peruvian cuisine. Enjoy these delicacies in a small, but very scenic, restaurant. For the more adventurous there is an optional kayak along the coast of Llachon (see our extensions). At 1:50 pm. we leave Santa Maria.2:25 pm Arrival to a remote area of the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca, and explore UROS Ccapi, these are considered as the last authentic floating islands, less commercial and little visited. The Uros are descendants of one of the oldest cultures in South America. Optional tours in reed boats. Depart back to Puno at 15:25 pm. 4:30 pm Arrival in Puno and transfer to hotel.

Transfer from hotel in Puno to Juliaca airport

All itineraries are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control including, weather, road or trail conditions and flight schedules. Train included in all tours is the Cerrojo-backpacker (Aguas calientes to Ollantaytambo) Train times will only be confirmed once full amount of tour is paid. The earliest train you could take is the 14:00 and being the 21:00 pm the last train. Machupicchu exploring Peru will organize the transport back to Cusco (by taxi or by bus). Most people automatically assume that the weather is hot in South America, but because of the higher altitude in the Andes, the temperature can feel quite cold, especially at night. We recommend the use of a duffel bag or backpack, whichever is easiest for you to carry. A good size daypack is also essential.
